ABOUT ME
Welcome! I am a second generation piano tuner and technician with over 25 years of experience. My former clients include Oswego State College, and Landmark Theatre (Syracuse, NY). I have tuned concert pianos for many famous musicians including
Liberache,
B.B.King,
Neil Young, and
Lena Horne.
I practice aural tuning - tuning by ear. Tuning by ear requires many years of training, and is superior to tuning by instrument or electronics. I have a musically tuned and very sensitive ear. I tune to arrive at harmonic tuning. This allows pianos to achieve its best harmonics in their current environment.
My personal service involves attention to the fine details of each piano part and sound.
